At the beginning of March, Zappeio Megaro will host the largest exhibition of Greek wines – an important event of the year.
Exhibitors-winemakers have already declared 300 new wines, many of which can be evaluated in the special area “Tasting Square”. The three-day event will take place on March 4, 5 and 6. Hundreds of Greek and foreign wineries will present more than 2,500 varieties of wines on it. Both professional tasters and buyers are looking forward to tasting the wines of the new 2022 vintage to appreciate its quality. The year is considered very good, approaching a number of excellent ones, such as 2019 and 2020.
Οινόραμα is a place where new releases and new wines are traditionally brought to the market, and this year is no exception – winemakers have announced more than three hundred new products. Thousands of visitors looking forward to the opening of the exhibition will have a unique opportunity to taste representative wines:
- seasoned and rare;
- limited (small) production;
- from little-known and undeservedly forgotten grape varieties;
- from organically grown grapes;
- various specialty wines expressing unconventional or innovative oenological approaches.
New wineries will be showcased in a dedicated Wine Revelations room.
Winemakers from all over Greece and abroad will be ready to answer any question you may have about their wines. A special place among the 300 wineries participating in the exhibition, a special place is occupied by 10 Cypriot, representing 45 types of wines, writes CNN Greece.
