Weather on Clean Monday: south wind, heat and African dust

Flying a kite and going on a picnic with the whole family, as is traditionally done on Clean Monday, will be possible for all those who stayed in the city for three festive days.

However, judging by the weather forecasts for Great (Clean) Monday, the atmosphere in a number of regions of the country will be heavy due to the impending African dustreports lifo.gr. Based on the forecast data of the National Observatory of Athens /meteo.gr., the atmospheric front created in the Mediterranean Sea will contribute to the transfer of masses of hot air and African dust to our country over the next three days.

In addition, some weakening of the wind is expected on February 27, which will be very favorable for kite flying and outdoor recreation.
