A 76-year-old man was the victim of a robbery by a woman he picked up in his car on one of the roads of Rhodes. The lady voted, and he, out of the kindness of his heart, decided to give her a ride.
The incident took place on Wednesday (30.11) at 2:45 pm when a 76-year-old resident of Maricas saw a woman standing alone on the side of the Kalamonas-Mariston road. A decent-looking lady raised her hand, indicating that she was “asking for a ride.”
As the woman sat in the passenger seat, she said, according to a police statement, “Take me to the village.” And the car started moving. At that moment, a red car blocked the road, and the lady, instantly turning into a fury, pushed the old man, and her accomplice (from the red car) immobilized the dumbfounded driver.
