Stores may have been originally announced to be open today, Sunday November 6th, but Cyclone Eve made a last-minute adjustment so they will remain closed.
However, shops will finally open next Sunday, the Greek Ministry of Development said in a statement. The report of the General Secretariat of Trade and Consumer Protection of the Ministry of Development and Investment states:
“The General Secretariat of Trade and Consumer Protection of the Ministry of Development and Investment informs consumers that commercial stores will be closed throughout the territory on Sunday November 6 due to weather disasters that are expected to affect many parts of the country. To serve consumers shops will be open throughout the area next Sunday 13 November, with additional opening hours from 11:00 to 20:00“.
In addition to the upcoming Sunday, stores will also be open on December 11 and December 18, 2022, that is, on the last two Sundays before Christmas.
