The heads of governments of Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovenia arrived in the capital of Ukraine for negotiations with Volodymyr Zelensky: Mateusz Morawiecki, Piotr Fiala and Janez Jansha.
The visit was coordinated with European Council President Charles Michel and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. It was prepared in conditions of strict secrecy and is intended to express the support of the European Union for the independence and sovereignty of Ukraine. NATO, the OSCE and the UN were informed about the forthcoming visit. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky called the arrival of the prime ministers of the three countries a powerful evidence of support.
The European Union condemned the invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine, calling the aggression unprovoked and unjustified.
