Pupils of all school levels, vaccinated and unvaccinated, and vaccinated teachers will be able to receive five free self-tests at pharmacies from Monday March 14 to Thursday March 17 to meet monitoring needs for the period from March 18 to April 1, 2022 .
Coronavirus self-testing is mandatory for all students and teachers, writes politic.gr. All students aged 4 to 18, as well as vaccinated teachers, must present a negative self-test certificate. Parents/guardians of students who attend public school divisions and their vaccinated teachers register the application and result on the edupass.gov.gr platform from which the school card for COVID-19 is issued.
Free self-test is available in pharmacies only on working days and hours. Students must carry a printed “school card” with them until the next diagnostic test. If it is not possible to print it, it can be completed and signed by the parents/guardians of the students.
To facilitate the control of results on the platform https://edupass.gov.gr/ it would be good announce the result of the self-test the night before. If a student is absent on the day they are required to show the self-examination form, they must have it with them on the day they return to school.
If a student tests positive for COVID-19, they will be isolated for at least 5 days. Quarantine will be lifted
five days later, when the obvious symptoms of fever and temperature are no longer present. If the fever persists or there is a positive self test (or rapid test), isolation will be extended.
