The General Secretary of Primary Health Care, Marios Themistokleous, made a number of clarifications regarding the coronavirus vaccination.
In particular, referring to vaccines recognized in Greece, Mr. Themistokleous noted that the National Vaccination Committee approved five more vaccines, including the Russian Sputnik V vaccine.
That is, citizens vaccinated abroad with the AstraZeneca, Pfaizer, Moderna, J&J vaccines and five more, including Sputnik V, will be recognized by Greece as vaccinated.
The procedure for recognizing a certificate of vaccination in Greece
For those who are resident in Greece and have been fully vaccinated abroad, there is an electronic identification platform (emvolio.gov.gr), which can also be used by residents of the EU and 33 other countries.
You need to register on the platform, upload your certificate and gain access to scan the QR code.
For the rest of the non-EU countries and 33 participating countries such as the USA, from yesterday their certificate can be recognized through the KEP (Community Service Center).
