Two arrests for "only" 60 kg of cannabis

The two brothers were arrested by police in Kilkis as they were transporting more than 60 kg of cannabis in their cars.

The men were found moving in two cars in the Kilkis border area by police from the crime prevention and suppression team. During the inspection, 18 bags of cannabis were found in vehicles, with a total weight of 60 kg and 800 grams.

According to the investigation, the specified amount of cannabis was imported into the territory of Greece from a neighboring country, and was obtained by drug dealers for further transportation and illegal sale.

The arrested were found and confiscated cash in the amount of 650 euros and two mobile phones. The vehicles they used to transport drugs have been confiscated.

Those arrested will be taken to the prosecutor of the Kilkis Court of First Instance.
