The father of a student who filed a lawsuit against teachers arrested

In Thessaloniki, the father of a student was arrested, who was not allowed to attend classes without a diagnostic self-test for coronavirus. In response, the parent filed a lawsuit against the school teachers.

The man is in the police station and tomorrow will be taken to the prosecutor to investigate the circumstances of the incident, reports grtimes.gr

According to initial information, this morning the parent brought his son to a gymnasium in the Ampelokipi-Menemeni area and demanded that he be allowed to study without a test. The student was not allowed to go to school in accordance with the requirements to comply with restrictive measures set by the government to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

The father went to the police and filed lawsuits against the teachers. The prosecutor was informed about the incident, and he petitioned for the initiation of a criminal case against the parent of the pupil. As you know, in Greece, there is a resolution of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Supreme Court on the criminal liability of those who file lawsuits against medical workers and teachers demanding the implementation of established measures.
