What will be allowed for unvaccinated citizens from Monday

In connection with the announced new measures on coronavirus, which will take effect on Monday and are designed for 2 months, unvaccinated citizens will have many restrictions. What will be allowed?

How announced the prime minister Greece in its appeal on Thursday evening, three days later, from Monday 22 November, without full vaccination, it will be impossible to enter any closed premises, except for catering establishments. Thus, unvaccinated citizens are excluded from all recreational activities – it becomes impossible to visit theaters, museums, sporting events and gyms, conferences, cinemas, etc.

But even those who have certificates will be able to use them for a certain period. The period of validity of the vaccination certificate for vaccinated persons over 60 years old is set at 7 months from the date of issue. To extend it, a third dose is required within the seventh month after the main vaccination. The decision was made on the basis of experts’ approval of a gradual decrease in protection after the first two vaccinations.

What remains allowed for unvaccinated citizens? If there is a fresh negative result of the express test, it is allowed to:

visit hairdressing salons; use public intercity transport; attend church; do shopping; use the services of public catering establishments in open areas.

The entrance to supermarkets, pharmacies, bakeries, grocery stores remains free. No test is required for using public city transport. Children 4-17 years old will be able to visit all of the above places if they have a positive self-test.
