Angela Merkel is in Athens yesterday and today, in connection with which there are emergency traffic rules – traffic deviations and interruptions are possible.
This is the last visit of Mrs. Merkel to our country as Chancellor of Germany. Today’s program includes a meeting with Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou (10:15), and then, in the Maxim’s palace, with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis (10:50). In the morning, already at 9:00, Angela Merkel will speak to young people at the Goethe Institute. Athenian police reports:
“During the daytime and evening hours of Thursday 10/28/2021 and Friday morning-noon of 10/29/2021 on the roads of Attica, traffic rules will apply in emergencies, with stops and deviations of the movement of vehicles.”
Yesterday, following Ms Merkel’s arrival in Athens, a private dinner was held at the home of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
