Shocking audio recording of Caroline’s husband’s call to the police

The investigation into the murder of 20-year-old Caroline Crouch at her home in Glick Nera by her husband in May last year has been officially completed. According to media reports, the judge concluded that the victim’s husband was the sole culprit in her death.

All evidence points exclusively to her husband, Babis Anagnostopoulos, a 33-year-old pilot, as the perpetrator of the murder, media reported Wednesday, noting that her husband had originally told police that she was killed in a home invasion by unidentified burglars.

The man was taken into custody and charged with the murder of his wife and family dog, and of giving false testimony to the police. The case will now be considered by a judicial council, which will issue an order on the indictment of the suspect.

State news agency Amna with citing sources reports that no evidence has been found to indicate any other person’s involvement in the murder of a 20-year-old British citizen.

In an attempt to establish charges of “premeditated murder,” the investigation requested information from a Chinese firm that made a CCTV camera installed in the couple’s home. But no one answered the request. The husband, who confessed to the murder almost a month later, said he had filmed the camera three hours before Caroline’s death.

The couple’s bank records showed nothing worthwhile other than that the victim’s family provided financial support and Caroline paid several bills.

Shocking sound when the husband calls the police

A shocking audio recording was leaked to the press on Tuesday. There, the killer turns to the police for help and pretends that he was gagged by the robbers, whom he invented himself.

As an example of hypocrisy, the husband calls the police after killing Caroline, he moans, whispers and pretends to burst into tears. “Where are you?” The policeman asks him, and he pretends not to be able to speak.

“I don’t understand what’s happening to you? – the officer insists, “Where are you?” Then he replies: “Glika Nera” and finally gives the address.

Custody of the daughter

Meanwhile, the husband’s family gave up the right to seek custody of the couple’s daughter, Lydia, who was 11 months old at the time of the murder.
