EODY has announced the number of cases of coronavirus in the country in the past 24 hours.
The number of new cases in the country is particularly high, surpassing 4,000 for the second time in August. At the same time, the number of intubated continues to grow, thankfully at a slower pace than in previous waves of the pandemic.
The number of positive cases of coronavirus has been identified after more than 110,000 virus tests have been carried out. Over the past 24 hours, 16 people have died.

New laboratory confirmed cases of the disease registered in the last 24 hours amount to 4,206, of which 21 were detected after checks at the country’s border. The total number of cases is 543 749 (daily change + 0.8%), of which 51.2% are men. 135 cases of covid are believed to be related to overseas travel, and 1,524 are believed to be related to a known case.
There have been 16 new deaths of patients with COVID-19. At the same time, since the beginning of the epidemic, a total of 13,253 deaths have been recorded. 95.2% had an underlying disease and / or were 70 years of age or older.
The number of patients who underwent intubation was 258 (61.2% of men). Their average age is 64. 84.9% have an underlying disease and / or are 70 years of age or older. Since the start of the pandemic, 2,885 patients have been discharged from intensive care units.
