American pharmacist faces over 100 years in prison for selling vaccination certificates

An American pharmacist was arrested, who made a good profit on the sale of vaccination certificates. However, he is unlikely to need the money now, the businessman faces a too long prison term – 120 years.

According to RIA Novosti, law enforcement agencies arrested 34-year-old Chicago resident Tangtang Zhao. By the time of his arrest, as established by the investigation, he had managed to sell more than 100 certificates via the Internet. According to the US Department of Justice, the pharmacist has been charged with 12 embezzlement charges, each of which is expected to be sentenced to up to 10 years in prison. The press release states:

“If he is found guilty, he could face 10 years in prison for each count.”

The investigation found that in March and April of this year, the pharmacist sold 125 forms, which usually contain information about vaccinations. These are the strict reporting forms issued by the medical regulator CDC. They are filled in manually. There were 11 buyers who paid $ 10 for each form. Emmerson Bew, Jr., head of the FBI’s Chicago office, noted:

“Deliberately selling vaccine cards to unvaccinated individuals is endangering the lives and health of millions of Americans. Trading cheaply in our nation’s safety not only offends those fighting the pandemic, it is a federal crime with grave consequences.”

Vaccination confirmation is now “worth its weight in gold” in the United States. The surge in the incidence is forcing an increasing number of companies and institutions to require a vaccination certificate from their employees. A similar requirement applies to customers.
