Teacher arrested for refusing to take self-test

The Greek police and other competent inspection services made seven arrests and fined € 290,900 during yesterday’s checks. Fines were issued for non-compliance with measures to limit the spread of coronavirus.

Among those arrested is a teacher, an Andros high school teacher, who did not submit a negative self test. However, he was not fined.

“According to the information available to the law enforcement officers, he also did not wear a mask. The director reported the incident to the authorities. I think that the teacher will not be able to immediately start his official duties. I do not know exactly what he is accused of and why he was arrested, ”commented Marianna Fotopula in the program“ Κοινωνία Ωρα ”on the MEGA channel.

“The situation in Andros has returned to normal after an outbreak of the disease, which was recorded by epidemiologists earlier,” added Ms Fotopoulou, journalist andriakipress.gr.
