The TikTok recording has received over nine million views. When the clip went viral, the cafe executives called the woman and demanded that it be removed. Despite statements by the employee that she did not publish the video, she was suspended from work. After that, the woman decided to publish the video on her page, and encouraged people to share it with other users. She noted that the robber was shorter than her, so she had an advantage.

To support the woman, users created a page on the charity fundraising site. They managed to collect 14 thousand dollars. These funds will be used to repair a phone broken during a robbery, reimbursement of lost items and pay for the services of lawyers.

It is worth noting that in Greece this situation is even more real than in the United States, since, according to local laws, resistance to criminals is formally equated with breaking the law. And if you hit the criminal or, God forbid, inflicted bodily harm on him, you may be condemned even more severely than the robber himself.
