Coronavirus: 3,625 cases, 30 deaths, 296 intubated

The Greek Ministry of Health announced 3,625 new cases of coronavirus on Friday, August 20. It is reported that there are 296 intubated patients in hospitals, with 30 deaths recorded in the last 24 hours.

There are 30 new deaths of patients with COVID-19, with a total of 13,328 deaths since the beginning of the epidemic. 95.2% had an underlying disease and / or were 70 years of age or older. The number of patients who underwent intubation was 296 (61.1% of men). Their average age is 64. 83.4% have an underlying medical condition and / or are 70 years of age or older. Since the start of the pandemic, 2,904 patients have been discharged from the intensive care unit. Admission of new patients with Covid-19 to hospitals in the region – 267 (daily change -3.26%). The average number of patients hospitalized within seven days is 253. The average age of patients is 40 years (range 0.2 to 106 years), and the average age of death is 78 years.
