An incredible incident occurred around 11:30 am on Monday October 16 in one of the capital’s Pagrati districts.
Police officers in an official car carried out a raid to identify violations of traffic rules. Law enforcement officers arrived on Eftikhidou Street and, seeing cars parked in two rows, began to remove license plates from the vehicles, as required by law.
One of these offending cars was a silver Hyundai that belonged to the owner of a local store. The lady, right in front of the police, left her business and got into the car with the intention of reparking it. However, having set off, she injured the hand of a policeman who was behind the car at the time and was taking down the license plate.
According to preliminary information, the woman got out of the car. Her car was taken to the impound lot. The police officer was reportedly slightly injured.
