A 35-year-old mother of two was arrested early Sunday in Patras, Peloponnese, for endangering minors, police said.
According to a police report, a woman drove to a bar at dawn Sunday, leaving her two minor children, ages 9 and 3 1/2, locked in the car, putting them in physical danger. Neighbors, realizing that the children were locked in the car, informed the police.
Police officers arriving at the scene found the children healthy and the mother nearby, local media reported. The police arrested her for endangering the physical integrity of children.
