A grief-stricken mother who went to a bar at night and locked her children in the car has been arrested.

Early in the morning of October 15, a 35-year-old mother of two children was arrested in Patras, who, according to police, is accused of endangering the life and health of minors.

According to the police, the mother decided to drive into a cafe-bar, leaving her two children, 9 and 3.5 years old, unattended, without thinking twice, locking them inside the car. What endangered their lives. Neighbors who noticed the children were in a locked car notified the police.

Immediately after this, the police and an ambulance arrived at the scene. Doctors examined the children and made sure that everything was fine with them. The police found and arrested the woman.

Let us remind you that in Greece these “thoughtless” actions are often committed by parents. And not all incidents end as well as this time. A few months earlier, the Athens News wrote that the father “forgot” the child in the car for an extended period of time.
