With painted naked or semi-naked bodies, shouting slogans about the freedom to use two-wheeled urban transport, cyclists began the 16th public march.
Cyclists initially gathered on the lawn of the ΑΠΘ Philosophical University, from where they moved along the streets of the northern capital of Greece. By riding around the city center, cycling fans have made their own message to society: freedom for the bike, freedom and protection of the environment, and freedom for the body (mores and self-expression).
International Naked Cycling is a self-organized and decentralized movement with more than 70 cities worldwide participating. In Greece, it has been held in Thessaloniki since 2008. The event is accompanied by loud music and fun.
