Nightmarish moments were experienced by tourists who were in a small tourist bus. The incident took place in Heraklion, Crete.
According to Κρήτη TV, a construction crane hook crashed into the side window of the bus, causing panic. The incident occurred while the vehicle was traveling on the BOAK (New National Road) from Heraklion to Rethymnon, just before entering Lygaria. Tragedy was fortunately avoided, because if the hook had hit the glass just a few centimeters lower, it would probably have injured the passengers.
The most worried tourist, who at that moment was holding her child in her arms and was directly on the seats at the place where the glass broke.
