Americans from Methoni, who went missing 1.5 months ago, were found dead in a 100-meter gorge.
They are David Harrison Robinson, 83, and his wife, Lucretia Robinson, 80, who lived in the Methoni area and went missing in January of this year. Their daughter, who lives abroad, found out that her parents (their bodies) were found after all, wrote about it on social networks. “The bodies of my parents were found at the foot of a cliff. There are no details yet. It will take several days for the remains to be officially identified and a death certificate issued. I will give you more information when I can,” the girl says in her post, “they disappeared a month ago, and there were all signs that they had committed suicide. It was speculated that they probably fell off the cliff together, but the Greek police had previously been unable to locate the site. Now I can figure everything out properly…”

I’m sorry you had to go through this,” one woman wrote to her, to which Julianne replied: “They were found in almost the most ‘obvious’ place given their usual routes. Why this gorge was not one of the first three places that the police had to check, I don’t know … My parents did everything possible to make it easier for me … ”.
“My parents were the best. They did everything they could to prepare me and their property and then did what was best for them. I can’t blame them in any way for the choice they made,” she says in her latest comment.
On Friday morning, a Greek Air Force drone service team spotted a blue car. Drone ΕΛΑΣ discovered the couple’s car in the area of a 100-meter gorge, and then, outside the car, the first body, and a little further – the second. A fire service operation was immediately organized jointly with the 6th EMAK from Patras, reports iefimerida.gr.
As it turned out later, searches in this area had already been carried out, but at a different point, at a distance of about 2 kilometers. The operation eventually led to the discovery of a missing US couple.
