After a blow to the head, an employee of a gas station was hospitalized after an armed attack in Vatonta (Evia).
The incident happened on Saturday evening, after 21:30. There were two employees at the gas station at the time. A hooded criminal burst into the room with a carbine and, threatening with a weapon that he literally “stuck” in the face of one of the employees, demanded to give the code from the safe located there, tells evima.gr. When the second man tried to intervene, the robber hit him hard on the head.
Having emptied the cash register of the gas station, the offender fled. Law enforcement officers are “combing” the area to find him. The injured worker was taken to the Chalkis hospital with serious head injuries.
