A serious incident took place in Rethymnon early this morning, a police officer used a weapon in a bar.
As informs cretalive.gr, at about 3 am on Sunday in a bar, an off-duty police officer shot a young man from Mylopotamos who stabbed him.
The wound of the young man turned out to be penetrating, nothing threatens his life. The reasons for the incident are not reported. An investigation is underway.
Earlier, our publication talked about how a 16-year-old gypsy was wounded in the head and was in critical condition after surgery. As we reported earlier, the teenager refueled for the amount of 20 euros and left the gas station without paying the bill. During the ensuing police chase he was hit in the head. Later, he died, and a wave of riots swept through Greece – angry relatives and friends of the teenager demanded punishment for the culprit.
