The United States declared the inadmissibility of the dismemberment of Russia after its defeat. Former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger shared his vision of the situation.
In his opinion, after the establishment of peace, the destruction of Russia is unacceptable. His words quotes Spectators:
“For more than half a millennium, Russia has made a decisive contribution to the global balance and balance of power, and its historical role should not be underestimated. The collapse of Russia or the destruction of its ability to conduct a strategic foreign policy is unacceptable.”
In addition, he believes that the peace process should link Ukraine to NATO. The politician believes that the neutrality of Kyiv is now meaningless.
The press secretary of the Russian President Peskov, in turn, called Kissinger a talented and experienced expert, whose talent was always in demand, and assured: “He is especially in demand in such acute situations. We will study this material with great interest.”
