The wedding of the British Prime Minister and his chosen one Carrie Simmonds will not take place soon – next summer, but the date has been set, and the bride and groom are sending out invitations to the wedding.
Judging by the date on the invitations sent out to family and friends, the event will take place on July 30, 2022, according to the Sun newspaper. The details of the celebration and the venue for it are still “classified”.
The couple announced their engagement in February last year, and at the beginning of the summer they had a baby – Wilfred Laurie Nicholas Johnson. The 56-year-old Johnson, according to AMPE, has four children born in the last, second, marriage to Marina Wheeler. The couple divorced in 2018 after 25 years of marriage. With 33-year-old Carrie Simmonds, Prime has been living on Downing Street since 2019.
