This afternoon a large fire broke out in the southern suburbs of the Greek capital Glyfada. While there is no threat to houses, experts say.
The fire broke out on Saturday at 13:00 in Ano Glyfada, at the end of Metsovu street (Μετσόβου) in the Pirnari district (Πουρνάρι Γλυφάδας), on the border with Imittos (Υμηττό), writes CNN.
Large forces of firefighters are involved in extinguishing, aviation equipment is used – it dumps water. According to the fire brigade, at the moment there is no threat to the houses.
