An incredible incident took place early in the morning in the center of Lamia, when a hawk flew into a catering establishment located in People’s Square (Πλατεία Λαού).

The staff couldn’t believe their eyes and found themselves in a difficult position, as they wanted to help the bird, but were afraid to approach it.

In the end, according to lamiareport, the solution was proposed by firefighters, who immediately arrived at the scene and took the wild bird. It will be delivered to the Wildlife Conservation Association (ANIMA).

“The hawk was very scared and banged against the glass until rescuers arrived. It was a pity for this wild bird, she was barely alive from fear, but did not allow her to come to her … ”- says Petros Celos, who became an eyewitness to the incident.
