The death of the prominent politician Ms. Fofi Gennimat was officially announced by the Greek authorities.
The politician died this morning, October 25, after a two-week hospitalization at Evangelism due to liver failure. Fofi Gennimata has bravely fought cancer for the second time, but recently her health has deteriorated rapidly. On October 12, she was admitted to the Evangelismos clinic with a relapse of the underlying disease.
Speaker of the Parliament Kostas Tassoulas has already been informed about the incident in order to begin the procedure for suspending parliamentary checks.
