Ryanair: 3 new bases in Corfu, Chania and Rhodes

Ryanair will operate from 14 airports in Greece, with an additional 46 scheduled for this summer season, thanks to the addition of new bases.

The Irish low-cost airline is strengthening its presence in the Greek islands. As announced today at a press conference, three more bases are being added to the existing ones in Athens and Thessaloniki, from which flights will be carried out between July and October this year.

The bases are located in Corfu, Chania and Rhodes. In total, the company will operate 14 Greek airports and operate 243 flights weekly.

To carry out passenger air transportation, the company will include 4 more aircraft in its fleet, which cost the company a tidy sum of $ 400 million. Ryanair is expected to create an additional 120 new jobs as a result of the operation of the new bases.
