Strawberry pie – fast, tasty and healthy


Today is Sunday, and it's time to pamper the whole family with delicious pastries.

The strawberry pie base is butter, eggs and strawberries. It will take only 15-20 minutes to prepare, and it will stay in the oven for 40 minutes. Delicate and aromatic pie serves 8 servings. Shall we begin?

Ingredients:

  • vegetable oil – 2 teaspoons;
  • sugar – 200 grams + 2 tablespoons;
  • flour – 130 grams;
  • salt – ¹⁄₄ teaspoon;
  • butter – 115 grams;
  • two eggs;
  • strawberries – 400 grams.

Cooking the pie

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C and prepare a round mold with a diameter of 22–23 cm, greasing it with vegetable oil.
  2. Combine 200 g of sugar, flour and salt (if the strawberries are sweet, a little less can be used).
  3. Melt the butter and cool.
  4. Beat butter with eggs.
  5. Combine the dry flour and egg mixture and mix. The dough should be thick.
  6. Cut the strawberries into large pieces and add the main part to the dough, mix.
  7. Place the dough in a baking dish, decorate the top with the remaining berries – lightly pressing them into the dough and sprinkling with sugar.

OK it's all over Now. Place the future pie in the oven for 35–40 minutes. Then use a toothpick to check the readiness – the stick should remain dry. If necessary, leave the cake in the oven for another 5 minutes. Bon appetit!
