Today is Sunday, and it's time to pamper the whole family with delicious pastries.
The strawberry pie base is butter, eggs and strawberries. It will take only 15-20 minutes to prepare, and it will stay in the oven for 40 minutes. Delicate and aromatic pie serves 8 servings. Shall we begin?
Ingredients:
- vegetable oil – 2 teaspoons;
- sugar – 200 grams + 2 tablespoons;
- flour – 130 grams;
- salt – ¹⁄₄ teaspoon;
- butter – 115 grams;
- two eggs;
- strawberries – 400 grams.
Cooking the pie
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C and prepare a round mold with a diameter of 22–23 cm, greasing it with vegetable oil.
- Combine 200 g of sugar, flour and salt (if the strawberries are sweet, a little less can be used).
- Melt the butter and cool.
- Beat butter with eggs.
- Combine the dry flour and egg mixture and mix. The dough should be thick.
- Cut the strawberries into large pieces and add the main part to the dough, mix.
- Place the dough in a baking dish, decorate the top with the remaining berries – lightly pressing them into the dough and sprinkling with sugar.
OK it's all over Now. Place the future pie in the oven for 35–40 minutes. Then use a toothpick to check the readiness – the stick should remain dry. If necessary, leave the cake in the oven for another 5 minutes. Bon appetit!
