A guest died in a fire in an Athens hotel (video)

A fire broke out in a hotel on Lyosion Street in the center of Athens on Sunday 14 April.

A man without signs of life was found in a room on the second floor of the hotel. His identity has not yet been established.

15 firefighters in five vehicles arrived to extinguish the fire; with the help of a special ladder truck, four trapped people were freed from different floors of the hotel. Another resident was evacuated through a regular flight of stairs.

The fire broke out under circumstances that are still unclear, an investigation is underway. writes CNN Greece.
