A 13-year-old boy has been released on condition of attending a counseling program at Greece's Mediterranean University after a 13-year-old girl complained about a photo posted on social media.
According to ΑΠΕ ΜΠΑ, the teenager was arrested following a complaint filed by one of the two girls shown in the photo, and a criminal case was opened against him on charges of aggravated pornography of minors, as well as violating the provisions of the Personal Data Law.
The teenager appeared today before the prosecutor and the investigator and, according to his lawyer, apologized, saying that he did not distribute the photo and did not intend to do so, but instead he himself reported its processing to one of the two girls, who even asked him to send it to her.
Together with the teenager, his father was arrested for neglecting the supervision of a minor, who was then released.
