On the ninth day after the terrorist attack in the Moscow region, a memorial service for the victims was held near the walls of Crocus City Hall. The Ministry of Emergency Situations updated data on victims, increasing their number from 382 to 551.
How tells euronews, 130 ambassadors, representatives of diplomatic missions and international organizations took part in the funeral ceremony on Saturday, March 30. They paid tribute to the memory of the victims and laid flowers and wreaths at the memorial. Several hundred people took part in the mourning event, among them relatives and volunteers.
After the death in hospital of 35-year-old Karen Yengibaryan, a passerby who took part in the evacuation of people from the concert hall, the death toll increased to 144 people. About a hundred people are considered missing.
