Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky agreed to speed up the development of a bilateral security agreement in a telephone conversation yesterday.
How writes “European Truth”, during the conversation they talked about the implementation of agreements reached during the recent visit of the Greek Prime Minister to Ukraine, on the continuation of defense cooperation, in particular, on strengthening Ukrainian air defense. Zelensky noted:
“Mr. Prime Minister became convinced of the need for reliable protection of the sky in Odessa on March 6. I also told him about the morning Russian attack on Kyiv.”
According to Zelensky, the leaders agreed to speed up work on a bilateral security agreement within the framework of the G7 Vilnius Declaration.
Previously, our publication told how Mitsotakis and Zelensky came under fire Russian missiles in Odessa. Mitsotakis said that at the time of the attack, President Vladimir Zelensky was with him in the port of Odessa, and the explosion occurred very close to them. No one from the Greek delegation was injured.
