Elliniko: complex of buildings for people with disabilities


Another award was received by LAMDA Development for its complex of buildings for the disabled in Elliniko, which received LEED Platinum certification, exceeding the conditions and criteria for green development.

The platinum award reflects Lamda Development’s commitment to creating projects that have a strong social impact and contribute to a greener future, the company said.

A new European model, a modern care center for people with disabilities, has been operating since October 2023 in Elliniko and currently has 4 unions for people with disabilities. The building, which is the first building built by LAMDA Development with its own funds, costing more than 15 million euros, delivered on time municipality of Elliniko-Argyroupoli.

The purpose of the construction was to meet the needs of 4 associations of disabled people, which until now operated in premises built in 1970 with an area of ​​only 2,500 square meters. The total area of ​​the new ultra-modern complex in Elliniko is a total of 11,500 sq.m. On a plot of 7400 sq.m. More than 8,000 plants were planted.
