In Aristotle Square in Thessaloniki, two transsexuals had to flee in a restaurant from an attack by a large group of young men.
A large-scale incident occurred on Saturday evening. At approximately 10:30 p.m., a large group of guys in the square first verbally abused two transgender people passing by, and then the young men began throwing bottles and spitting at them.
To escape, the victims of the attack went into the restaurant and called the police. As of this morning, law enforcement officers have arrested twelve people, but more are expected. writes newsbeast.gr. Those involved in the incident were taken to the White Tower Police Department. The Anti-Racial Violence Agency will take over the investigation.
