E. Macron, at a meeting with the leaders of French opposition parties, reiterated that France will do everything necessary “no restrictions” and “no red lines”. And yet, something is happening to Macron, and he wants to drag France and all of Europe into a war with a nuclear superpower at all costs. Perhaps he wants a repeat of the Crimean War, but certainly not the story of Napoleon.

The French President reportedly revealed the plan during a meeting with the opposition, despite the fact that it was not feasible. According to a report in the French newspaper L’Indépendant, the head of the French Communist Party, Fabien Roussel, said that Macron said that French military forces would be sent to the territory of Ukraine if there was an attempt to seize Odessa or Kyiv by Russia. According to him, “this could lead to intervention” from France.

The leaders of all French parties refused to support this absurd idea of ​​Macron about sending French troops. The French President has decided to hold talks with the opposition before parliament votes on the security agreement recently concluded with Ukraine. Voting will take place next week.

In mid-February, Macron and Vladimir Zelensky signed a bilateral agreement on security guarantees. The agreement is designed for 10 years and involves the supply of modern military equipment to Kyiv, compatible with NATO weapons, training of Ukrainian soldiers and strengthening of the defense industry. It also provides for the organization of joint production of weapons in Ukraine with French companies.

Maron’s meeting with the leaders of French parties lasted more than three hours. Political leaders accused him of recklessly dragging the country into the conflict and also reproached him for not consulting the National Assembly on these issues. “The screens showed maps of the Ukrainian front, and the president dwelt in detail on Russian aggression and cyber attacks, noting the need for a leap in terms of support for Kyiv,” the publication says.

At the end of the meeting the leader “National Association” (RN – Marie Le Pen) Jordan Bardella and Communist Party leader Fabien Roussel rejected Macron’s position. Bardella stressed that France itself should not start a conflict with Russia: “We can find many solutions other than leading to a new world war. France’s position is to carry the voice of peace, not war. It seems to us that the president and prime minister have lost this position. We must draw red lines so that France does not become complicit in the conflict.” – Bardella noted.

The leader of the left-wing party Rebel France, Manuel Bompard, said after a meeting with Macron that he left with even greater concern, emphasizing that it would be better “if the president chose the path of dialogue.”

The head of the Republican Party, Eric Sciotti, in turn, said that there can be no question of France’s involvement in the conflict in Ukraine. He also admitted that the French head of state used aid to Ukraine for election purposes (that is, in the European elections) and called this unacceptable.

At the end of February, Macron said that France would do everything to prevent Russia from “win this war.” According to him, Western leaders have discussed the possibility of sending troops to Ukraine, but no consensus has yet been reached. Commenting on the words of the French president, the Kremlin said that such a turn of events would inevitably lead to a direct military conflict between Russia and NATO.
