"Loud" Moscow’s response to Mitsotakis: "You are part of Nazi Europe and betray the memory of the Greek Resistance"!

Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova in “loud” post about Mitsotakis on Telegram expressed Moscow’s anger at the statements of the Greek Prime Minister and essentially called him “part of Nazi Europe”addressing him in the first person and ending with the phrase: “Do not betray the memory of the Greek Resistance!”

“Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said: “In this dark hour for Europe, we have demonstrated our determination to support Ukraine with a united front, something our enemies may not have expected. You will not scare us, we will continue to support Ukraine for as long as it takes.” He also called Russia an enemy of Europe.

Firstly, we have not intimidated Greece or anyone else and are not intimidating them. You won’t find a single example. Secondly, Europe was different. The Third Reich was also Europe. For such a Nazi Europe, we will always be an enemy. Thirdly, in my Soviet/Russian school, during the usual music lesson for each of our schoolchildren, I studied the works of Mikis Theodorakis. I knew both his music and his fate. He, too, was an enemy of Europe, Nazi Europe. Don’t betray, Kyriakos, the memory of the Greek Resistance!”, – concludes Maria Zakharova.
