However, OSE insisted on an investigation into the incident, which, due to its seriousness, was reported to the Railway Regulatory Authority (RAA). At the same time, in order to reach its own conclusion, OSE requested a tachograph recording from Hellenic Train to check whether slippage had occurred, as well as a corresponding driver’s report. According to traffic regulations, the speed of train 1313 should not exceed 60 km/h. However, the tachograph tape that recorded the skid has not yet been transferred to OSE.
