From March 13, a “lenten basket” will be available in supermarkets, what will it include

On Wednesday, March 13, the premiere of the “Lenten basket” is expected, which will include frozen seafood, various salads or spreads, usually taramosalata, Russian (Olivier) and, of course, halva. The Lenten Basket is expected to last until Holy Saturday.

As Minister Kostas Skrekas stated on the SKAI TV channel, the announcement Easter basket will be done on time, just like last year.

Meanwhile, on supermarket shelves, consumers have already noticed and will continue to see price reductions (fixing) for many product codes. About 4,000 different products, mainly household cleaning products, laundry detergents, shampoos, shower gels, diapers, baby food and toothpaste, will have their prices reduced by 15-30% compared to their original prices. In particular:

• diapers: 18.1%
• shampoo and shower gel: 17%
• washing powders: 15.6%
• baby milk: 15%
• soap: 12.7%.

We remind you that now all products on promotions (1+1, 2+1 minus 50%) will be calculated at new reduced prices.
