Last Friday, five brothels were inspected in Athens by officers from the Organized Crime and Human Trafficking Directorate of the Attica Security Directorate.
Raids to check the legality of the establishments and to identify victims of human trafficking took place in the center of the capital; eleven women were arrested and cases were subsequently initiated against them.
During the inspection, it was established that all five brothels operated without a license provided by law. The case materials were transferred to the prosecutor, writes CNN Greece.
