Prime Minister Mitsotakis continues to “improve” Greek-Russian relations, uttering words that no other country leader EU has not yet dared to say it to V. Putin, on the occasion of the heart attack and death of Alexei Navalny, held in Russian prisons.
In particular, he said: “Alexey Navalny fought fiercely for democracy and stood up to a brutal authoritarian regime. A regime that made sure Navalny paid for his bravery, first with freedom and now with his life. Our thoughts are with his family. His courage will not be forgotten.”

What’s next? Another deterioration in relations with Russia, and, of course, those who applauded Mitsotakis today at the Munich Conference will be very pleased, because he said what they do not risk saying. How much this personal act of Mitsotakis will cost Greece is still unknown…
