Thanks to the timely intervention of her father, a minor in Piraeus was saved from being attacked by a 43-year-old pedophile who came from Achaia to Attica to have sex with her!
In particular, A.P., through the Instagram social network application, exchanged messages of erotic content with K.M., born in 2011. The minor informed her father H.K., who continued to correspond with the pedophile from his daughter’s profile, pretending to be her. The father managed to arrange a meeting on January 18, 2024 “at the apartment.”
He notified law enforcement and police immediately subdued and arrested the man, taking him to Keratsini Local Station. Giving evidence, A.P. stated that in recent months he met women and underage girls on the Internetmainly through the INSTAGRAM application, with the aim of satisfy your sexual needs.
The minor’s father handed over screenshots of the above conversations recorded on a flash drive, as well as photographs of unpleasant content and similar videos.
By order of the authorities, employees of the Security Sub-Directorate of Patras conducted a search in the man’s house, as well as in his car, where electronic devices for storing digital data of a relevant nature were found. A backpack containing “erotic toys” was also found and seized.
The arrested person with the materials of the criminal case and other seized evidence was taken to the Piraeus district prosecutor’s office.
