An Estonian deputy proposed using mines along the border with the Russian Federation.
Leo Kunnas, a member of the opposition Conservative People’s Party of Estonia, stated this in an interview with the state broadcasting portal ERR. writes BB.LV. The parliamentarian noted:
“When building defenses near the border, it is important to use both anti-personnel and anti-tank mines.”
Previously, our publication told how in May 2023 in Estonia a man was not hired because of his Russian language. He applied for a job at Veho AS and, quite by accident, found out why he was not hired – they sent him a message: “Rejection. Russian-speaking.”
The failed employer justified the refusal by the fact that the applicant’s native language is Russian, therefore the company is not interested in his services. Thanks to a friend with whom the young man shared the information, a screenshot of the message with the true reason for refusing to cooperate quickly began to spread online, causing mixed reactions from users and a lot of discussions about discrimination and xenophobia.
