Night attack on Crimea. Powerful explosion and fire in the port of Feodosia (video)

At about three o’clock in the morning on Tuesday, December 26, the Ukrainian army attacked the port of Feodosia in the southeast of Crimea. A powerful detonation occurred there. The Ukrainian Armed Forces stated that they hit the Novocherkassk ship.

The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, reported an attack in the Feodosia area and a fire in the port. “An enemy attack was carried out in the Feodosia area. The port area has been cordoned off. At this moment, the detonation has stopped, the fire has been localized. All relevant services are working on the spot. Residents of several houses will be evicted,” – wrote he is on his Telegram channel.

Aksenov said that he keeps the situation under personal control, called for calm and trust in official information, writes TASS publication. The Telegram channel of the information center on roads and the situation on the road approaches to the Crimean Bridge reported that the passage was blocked, the publication adds. The restrictions were in effect for about an hour: from 02:31 to 03:42 (Moscow time).

At the same time, the commander of the Air Force, Lieutenant General Nikolai Oleshchuk confirmedthat Ukrainian defenders blew up the Russian large landing ship Novocherkassk in occupied Feodosia. Oleschuk thanked the Air Force pilots and “everyone involved”:

“And the fleet in Russia is getting smaller! This time, the flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, the cruiser Moskva, is followed by the large landing ship Novocherkassk. I thank the Air Force pilots and everyone involved for their meticulous work.”

The Ukrainian Air Force announced that the attack on the Russian ship Novocherkassk in the port of Feodosia this night was carried out by cruise missiles. The morning brief from the Supreme Court says: quotes Air Force:

“Around 02:30 on December 26, tactical aviation of the Air Force attacked the large landing ship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet Novocherkassk in the Feodosia area with cruise missiles.”

On the night of Tuesday, December 26, powerful explosions occurred in Feodosia and a fire broke out in the port. According to Telegram channels, a ship with Iranian ammunition was allegedly blown up. This was reported by Astra, Mash, Russian Air Force Service, Crimean Wind. ASTRA published the moment of the explosion and the first seconds of the fire. According to local residents, the attack occurred at 2:50 am.

Mash writes that explosions were heard near the port in Feodosia. And he added that supposedly “air defense work is underway.” According to Crimean Wind, a ship carrying ammunition from Iran was blown up in the port of Feodosia.

“Residents of Feodosia hear explosions in the port area and see smoke in the sky. According to preliminary data, air defenses are destroying enemy targets. Both Russian and Ukrainian sources report explosions, a fire and then a second powerful explosion in the port of Feodosia. Feodosia is a city in the southeast of the Crimean Peninsula. After a series of Ukrainian attacks on Sevastopol, some of the ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet were relocated to its port.
