Brutal beating of a traffic police officer in Patisia

A traffic policeman was brutally beaten by a motorcycle driver on Friday afternoon in Patisia.

The police officer filed a complaint against the driver for evading arrest and went to Military Hospital 401 to receive first aid.
Everything happened, according to the police statement he filed, on Friday at 13:40 on Chrysostomou Smyrna Street. An officer stopped a Honda motorcycle with the intention of issuing a traffic ticket.

Then, the 41-year-old police officer testified, the attacker punched him in the head and right eye. The motorcyclist then drove away from the scene without recording his identity or the registration number of his vehicle.

A traffic officer filed a complaint at 8:20 pm on Friday and charges of assault and threatening were brought against the offender.
