Threats against an 18-year-old accused: “The second funeral is coming soon – how many rapes will your child endure before hanging himself?”

The mother of an 18-year-old accused of attacking a police officer in Rendi spoke in a live program about the incident at the Melina Mercouri sports center and the threatening message she received against her son.

Recall that the 31-year-old police officer remains intubated in critical condition after amputation left leg with a deep wound in the thigh. Doctors were forced to amputate his leg to prevent his health from rapidly deteriorating.

A threatening message sent to a teenager’s mother’s mobile phone as authorities continue to investigate the organized crime spree is aimed at keeping her mouth shut.

“I received a threatening message and passed it on to security. It says: “Many people loved the informers, but no one loved the informer. God punishes.” Families like yours… (expletive) how many rapes will a child survive before hanging himself. The second funeral is coming soon.”

Regarding how the boy became involved in the incidents, his mother said: “They went with friends to watch their team, they had been to many sporting events before. They loved this team. They may have been given tickets, but they paid for them. They weren’t given free tickets to participate in something. They paid for them.”

Recall that his 16-year-old brother, who admitted to firing a flare gun at police last Thursday night, gave further evidence today. In addition, he was also in the sports complex and was taken along with the rest of the detainees to a transit prison. During his arraignment, he told police that his brother had indeed taken part in the riots and that he had returned to the stands at the Melina Mercouri sports complex knowing that he had injured an MAT employee. In particular, he said that his brother realized that he had made a mistake, as he allegedly told him: “I did a ma…yu (an obscene expression meaning a stupid act), I shot at a policeman.”.

“We were at the stadium watching the game. At some point I saw a lot of people running out of the stadium. When N. saw them, he also started running after them. Then I tried to hold him back because I was afraid that riots would start “, – a 16-year-old teenager said, in particular about violent incidents. – But he did not listen to me. I also went outside the stadium with him. Then I saw that many of those who came out were carrying Molotov cocktails, signaling rockets and rocks, and walked towards where the police were gathered. As soon as he returned, he told us what he did m… That he went to throw a flare, but instead of throwing it in the air, he threw it at the leg of the policeman “.

As for the flare, the teenager claims that an unknown person gave it to his brother: “The rocket was given to him by another man who didn’t know him and told him to throw it towards the police. He also showed him how to pull the rope and launch it.”
