SYRIZA youth wing: “We invited Kasselakis to a meeting, he canceled it and told us to go have a drink”

Efthymis Lambadas, a former member of the secretariat of the party’s Central Youth Council, explained the reasons why some youth left SYRIZA. “We regret to see that the new management does not respect us,” he told Kontra.

Asked if they had spoken with the party’s new chairman Stefanos Kasselakis, Efthymis Lambadas said: “We invited him to the Syriza youth secretariat, he agreed, and then canceled the meeting for some personal reasons an hour before it started and told us to go drink in the evening. This was the attitude of the SYRIZA President towards the SYRIZA Youth Secretariat.”

PS It seems that soon there will only be one faction left in SYRIZA, Kasselakis’ like-minded LGBT people.
